I promised to post twice a month and here I am! It might be very last minute, but that’s just the procrastinator in me. I have diagnosed myself as a lazy perfectionist.
If I do something, I want it to be perfect, but I would also be totally satisfied with chilling in my joggings all day doing nothing. Unfortunately that’s not how life works.
So, as you can see I got dressed!
This outfit isn’t so bad to put on. I love this blazer and I’m obsessed with these boots. They were a present from my boyfriend from Mascolori, a very fun and as the name already suggest, super colorful. Mine are black though, but not just plain. They have the most beautiful gold spats on them, which makes them very special and they match the buttons on my blazer.
I bought this jacket about five years ago on sale at H&M and I think it still looks amazing! It also reminds me a bit of a Balmain blazer, but then a lot less expensive of course.
I think those are amazing! A girl can dream, right?

First things first, Happy New Year! I hope you have a wonderful year and that you’ll realize all your dreams and wishes.
One of my resolutions for 2018 is posting more on my blog. I know I say this all the time, but I’ve now put a target for myself. At least post twice a month on here. I love writing and taking pictures as a way of expressing myself and inspiring. If you want to see more of me, you can follow me on Instagram. I’ve been posting a lot on there and really like it so take a look at odemode_.
Now, on to my outfit. Today was one of the first nice and sunny days in what feels like months, but realistically the first day with some sunshine in weeks. I got a bit overexcited and wore jeggings with sneakers. A warm pair or boots wouldn’t have been so bad either, because it was still sooooo cold! But, every time I wear this sweater I’m a happy kiddo. The sassiness of the sleeves, I’m in love! I must admit, I have a little sassy sleeve obsession… I know there also very ‘trendy’ right now, so I haven’t invested in a really expensive item. This one is from Forever 21 , but H&M also have some cute ones like this one or this one, which i also have.
It’s been a while since I’ve brought this bag anywhere, but now I know why i loved it so much. This Fendi 2jours bag is so practical. Not too big, not too small and a great neutral color. The exact color isn’t available anymore, but these are also beautiful neutrals.

No matter the season, animal prints are always in some form on trend. Snake- , zebra- , tiger- or leopard print, we’ve all seen them or worn those prints.
The statement leopard coat has kind of evolved for trend piece to a ‘classic’. If you buy a quality leopard coat you can wear it for years without looking outdated. I have to admit, this year is definitely the year of leopard though. The print is evolving from statement coat to skirts, to pants, to scarfs and many more items. Think of an item and it’s available in leopard print. Here are a few examples of pieces that I absolutely love.
These shorts, this scarf, these pants, this dress and these boots are all just too cute!
I must admit, I’ve also stocked up on this print quite a lot. If you really like the look of this trend, but aren’t sure if it’s for you, I would recommend starting of with an easy, affordable piece like a scarf. I just jumped in the deep end and bought this coat last year as my first piece and I don’t regret it!
I still love and wear mine a lot so I you ask me, it’s a winner!
I did go for a mix of leopard and tiger with this outfit, by wearing my coat with this beautiful green Kenzo sweater. It’s in my favorite color and i’m so happy that I found this cute green skirt to match and to complete my look!
