Stars

We all have those days, when we feel uninspired and don’t know what to wear. I like to stick to the basics, but I don’t like looking too plain Jane. So I like adding a little touch of something. In this occasion a cute hat with stars!
I’m really into stars at the moment and perfect timing because they are very trendy this season. Everything star-printed is welcome in my closet. Don’t get me wrong… I still love stripes, but stars are very cute for the holiday season.
You may not be able to see this, but my boots actually have glitters in them! I know,… amazing right! I’ve been wearing them nonstop and i don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

Sukajan

Bombers have been all the rage and they aren’t going anywhere, but we’ve been
calling some of them wrong. These jackets have an entire heritage behind them that we (or at least I) didn’t know about.

The roots of the Souvenir Jacket, or Sukajan in Japanese, go back to American soldiers who were stationed in Japan at the end of the second World War. After the war
the American soldiers, stationed in Japan, began getting traditional Japanese designs hand-stitched onto the backs of their jackets to commemorate their time in Japan.
The designs included Japanese style dragons, tigers, cherry blossoms and trees, even Geisha girls were featured on the soldiers backs. Since then,
they’ve started to take on a life of their own.
What a beautiful history! I already just like the look of this jacket, but after a friend told me about the Sukajan, I started reading a bit about them and know I like mine even more!

Black & Blue

We’ve all hear that wearing black and blue together is a ‘no-go’. It’s kind of not done
to pair those to colors and I never used to do it,
but now I actually really like wearing them together. I think it looks chic and it so easy to pair. I don’t usually wear any others colors with the black and blue,
because then it can quickly turn from ‘a cute look’ to ‘too much’.
Also, I’m completely obsessed with this star blouse. My sister and I both bought this blouse at Zara about two weeks ago and we’ve both really like it.
Thankfully we live in different cities, otherwise it would be a bit awkward wearing the same blouse wherever we go…

Flowers for Fall

A while back I realized I didn’t really have any cute dresses. I had a few summer one’s, but not more transitional Fall or even Winter dresses. I ordered this one online about two weeks ago and I wasn’t sure if I should keep it, but I’m soooo happy I did. That’s one of the good things about having girlfriends who are also shopaholics.
Just kidding, but not really… My bank account doesn’t like my friends or me.
Also I’m justifying keeping this dress because it looks great with my Fendi bag and I don’t wear that beauty enough and I really should! I love everything about the bag, but since I got my Givenchy Antigona I’ve kind of forgotten this baby.

Grey Ruffles

We all just have those days, when you don’t want to wear tight pants or a cute top. No, you just want to be really comfortable. Well… I found the perfect dress for those days!
This thing is very comfy and yet quiet trendy! The ruffles and the unfinished hems give the dress a bit of an edgy and trendy site. Also it has pockets and that is basically all I want. If a piece of clothing doesn’t have pockets, I’ll probably wont buy it.
This dress will definitely be a go to piece when I don’t know what to wear!
